Beautiful Silver and Large Cornish Sea Glass Statement Ring
Rings containing a large piece of sea glass that will dazzle everyone with their glow. The sea glass is set in a fine silver bezel, with a hammered finish 4 mm band.
This perfectly tumbled piece of sea glass was collected around the Falmouth Bay Area in Cornwall. The area is the deepest, and second-largest natural port in the world, and has been an active maritime hub for more than 500 years. Due to its history, many pieces of sea glass from the area are extremely old and have a beautiful smooth finish and unusual colour. These particular pieces are varying shades of turquoise in colour which was popular in glass manufacture around 150 years ago. This piece can appear to change colour when the light hits it, creating a real eye-catching effect.
